This Week
This week we are continuing to talk about the biomes of Utah. Students are learning about climate differences as well as animal and plant adaptations. Please ask your child what they are learning in science this week.
In math we are beginning a geometry unit. Students will need to understand the terms similar and congruent. They need to know the difference between acute, obtuse, straight, and right angles.
In reading we are focusing on comprehension skills. Last week we talked about finding main ideas and writing summaries. We are now practicing strategies to help us see if we truly understand what we read.
