Homework

Math: Tuesday and Thursday. The review will come home on Tuesday night and the test will be taken on Wednesday.

Reading/Spelling: I am sending home a purple contract. Please hand these in next Monday. There will be vocabulary this week.

Dates


BOOK REPORTS: Please remember that I pushed the date to January 26th for book reports. The genre is historical fiction. If you do not have a rubric of what needs to be done, please have your child let me know.


April 17th- Kite Festival. I am sending home the reading chart for this festival. You just fill in reading minutes all the way up to April. If you bring this calendar to the festival, your child will receive a free kite.


This Week

This week we are finishing up our unit on the water cycle. We will do some investigations and then take the test on Friday.

In math we are finishing up our money unit. Students will take the test on Tuesday. We will then start another multiplication unit.

In writing we are still working on expository essays. Students seem to be enjoying creating their own recipes.
