Homework

Math: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Reading and Spelling: Please fill out the purple contract for both reading and spelling and turn it in next Monday.

Dates


Friday, November 20th: Jubilee of Trees. We will have a field trip from 9:30 until 11:30. Please return the permission slip. I will be contacting those of you who volunteered to come today or tomorrow. The storytelling festival is also going on at Millcreek for those who moved on to the next level. Good luck!

This Week

We will have a math test this Thursday. Look out for the review sheet that will be coming home for homework on Wednesday night. This will help prepare your child for the test. Some vocabulary words from this section that your child should be familiar with – perimeter, base, face, edges, vertex/vertices, prism, quadrilateral, and polygon.

In social studies we are discussing rights, responsibilities, and respect. Ask your child how they can be a good citizen in school and in society.

We are starting new groups for spelling this week. Almost every group will be getting the same sort. We have noticed that students need a review on changing –y to –ies.
